Bonamici to Host Series of Town Hall Meetings at Senior and Community Centers Across the District

PORTLAND, OR – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-1) announced that she will host a series of town hall meetings around the First Congressional District focused on issues that impact senior citizens. Information about government programs to assist seniors with housing, retirement, and financial issues will also be available.
 
From health care reform to budget considerations, the ongoing debates in Congress have a dramatic effect on the day-to-day lives of Oregon’s seniors,” said Bonamici. “I’m eager to hear the views of community members and have a frank discussion about our national priorities.”

The meetings are open to the public and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to ensure seating. No RSVPs are required. Refreshments will be served.
