She understands that many borrowers are confused and frustrated because of the lack of certainty around student loan repayment programs and potential forgiveness—particularly given the change in the Presidential administration.
Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici invites you to join a webinar on Friday, January 10. Webinar participants will have an opportunity to ask questions about student loan repayments, and rights as a borrower. The webinar will include student loan experts Lane Thompson, the Oregon Student Loan Ombuds, and Mike Pierce, the executive director and co-founder of the Student Borrower Protection Center.

- Tips what you can do to protect yourself now that the Fresh Start Program has ended
- Rights for Student Loan Borrowers under state and federal law
