Congressional App Challenge

Register for the 2023 Congressional App Challenge!

The Congressional App Challenge is a competition for middle and high school students to engage their creativity and participate in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education fields. This competition is a nationwide event that allows students from across the country to engage in the fields of coding and computer science by creating and exhibiting their software application, or "app," for mobile, tablet, or computer devices on a platform of their choice.

The Congressional App Challenge is open to all middle and high school students who live or attend school in Oregon's First Congressional District. Students entering the competition must submit their app online during the Competition Submission Period from June 15th – November 1st, 2023, as well as provide a YouTube or VIMEO video demo explaining their app and what they learned through this competition process.
