Bonamici, Merkley and Blumenauer call for Trump inquiry following Mueller’s remarks

After Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Wednesday morning remarks, several members of Oregon's congressional delegation joined a growing chorus on Capitol Hill calling for impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.

Rep. Suzanne Bonamici, who first called for impeachment action a week ago, joined Wednesday's tweet storm early, writing "Special Counsel Mueller made it clear that he could not charge President Trump with a crime because of DOJ policy – not because there wasn't evidence of wrongdoing. That responsibility falls to Congress, which is why I have called for the start of an impeachment inquiry."
