Bonamici called out what she called the hypocrisy of Republicans who she said wouldn't denounce a video posted on former President Donald Trump's Truth Social platform that had Nazi language. The post was taken down the next day and the Trump campaign claimed it is not a campaign video but rather a random online video reposted by a staffer who did not see the phrase.

“Did any of my colleagues on this committee call that out and ask the candidate that most of them have endorsed for its removal,” Bomamici said, adding, “It baffles me that some people are opposed to antisemitism when it's politically convenient instead of whatever it rears its ugly head.”
