Oregon lawmakers speak out against siege of U.S. Capitol building by pro-Trump mob

Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) announced his safety via Twitter just after 1 p.m. Other U.S representatives, Suzanne Bonamici (D-Ore.), Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) and Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.), also confirmed their safety via Twitter in the afternoon. U.S. Rep. Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.) also wassafe in his office for the duration of the event, according to a spokesperson.
