Oregon leaders use social media as a tool to communicate during coronavirus concerns

February 29, 2020

As more people across the country test positive for the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, Oregon leaders are encouraging people to stay calm, take care of themselves and verify information about the virus with government resources.

Rep. Suzanne Bonamici said she is working with Gov. Brown to make sure local groups receive the resources they need.

"I've been in touch with @OregonGovBrown and federal officials about making sure our local organizations promptly receive the resources, equipment, and support they need to keep our community safe. I will continue these efforts." - Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici
