Russian-speaking senior center in Beaverton hosts Bonamici

U.S. Rep. Suzanne Bonamici visited the Silver Years Adult Day Care Center in Beaverton on Tuesday, March 22, to address the Russian-speaking community on the war in Ukraine. Cherevatenko said the community was happy to hear that Bonamici was fully "on board" with what the community hopes for Ukraine during the war. Bonamici said she supports U.S. aid to Ukraine, U.S. cooperation with other European and NATO allies, and implementing sanctions against Russia, which attacked Ukraine without provocation in late February.
