Democratic Reps. Suzanne Bonamici, Debbie Dingell and Rashida Tlaib led a letter asking leadership to include a minimum of $4.3 billion in the next coronavirus relief package for supplemental funding for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The lawmakers also called for a similar funding mechanism to assist with drinking water and wastewater services that benefit households economically affected by Covid-19.
