Why the United States needs a modern WIC program

We have different political philosophies and represent districts on opposite sides of the country, but we couldn’t agree more on the importance of WIC to our constituents and the country. WIC serves women who are pregnant, postpartum and/or breastfeeding, along with young children up to age 5 — including about half of all infants born in the United States.
