Bonamici Statement to Commemorate Veterans Day

Washington County, OR – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) released the following statement in commemoration of Veterans Day:

“Veterans Day is a time to honor the millions of men and women who have bravely served our country. America is stronger because of the courage and sacrifice of our veterans and their families. On Veterans Day we thank them for their service, but every day we appreciate them.

“On the battlefield, our veterans vow to leave no service member behind. At home, we pledge to leave no veteran behind. Today and every day, we must continue to support our veterans so that they do not struggle to find a job, a place to live, or to access their benefits. And today and every day, we must strive for peace at home and around the world.”
