Bonamici Statement on Vera Katz

WASHINGTON, DC [12/11/17] — Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) issued the following statement about the passing of Vera Katz, former Portland Mayor and Speaker of the Oregon House:

"Along with all Oregonians, I mourn the passing of Vera Katz. Vera was a true leader, and a pioneer for women in politics. Portland and Oregon are better because of Vera's leadership and legacy. She will be missed."
