Our congressional staffs recently requested the Office of Refugee Resettlement permit them to tour the children’s facility in Oregon, as did Senators Merkley and Wyden and Congresswoman Bonamici the week before. Both requests were denied.

This administration’s deliberate attempt to undermine diversity is inconsistent with our American values. The Supreme Court’s decision in Fisher v. University of Texas affirmed the importance of a diverse student body."
