Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici and Congressman Rodney Davis (R-IL) today introduced a bipartisan resolution supporting the whole child approach to education.
“The whole child approach recognizes the importance of having every child in every school be healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. As a long-time supporter of a well-rounded education and a member of the Committee on Education and the Workforce, I’m proud to be leading this effort with Congressman Davis,” Congresswoman Bonamici said.
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici and Congressman Greg Walden amended the National Defense Authorization Act with provisions that will require the Army to reassess a recent change to its tuition assistance program—a program that helps soldiers cover the cost of enrolling in off-duty classes.
Beaverton, OR — Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici announced eight town hall meetings June 3 - 14 across the First Congressional District.
Bonamici will provide an update on her work in Congress and take questions from residents. The town hall meetings will be held in: Portland, Hillsboro, Beaverton, Gearhart, Vernonia, McMinnville, Newberg, and Scappoose.
“These town halls are an excellent opportunity to hear directly from my constituents about the issues that they value most,” Bonamici said. “I encourage all my constituents to attend and participate.”
