Senator Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., said the Trump administration is trying to bully those who don't agree with his police tactics.

"Trump may admire dictators like Putin and Duterte, but there is no place for that behavior in Portland, in Oregon, or in the United States of America," said Merkley.

"Instead of working on a national plan to address the pandemic and save lives, Trump and his administration are wasting time threatening to withdraw funding from Portland and other cities," said Rep. Suzanne Bonamici, D-Ore.

‘Can’t be more thankful’: Rep. Bonamici visits WashCo fire crews

Oregon Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici stopped in Washington County Saturday afternoon to thank firefighters for their efforts in battling the Chehalem Mountain Fire.

She met with crews from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue and heard from firefighters about what they needed to finish putting out hotspots from the wildfire.
