U.S. representatives Earl Blumenauer and Suzanne Bonamici, both Democrats from Oregon, joined 13 other representatives in writing a letter demanding the immediate resignation of Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf.
The letter blames Wolf for mismanagement, inciting xenophobia, and using federal agents to disrupt lawful protests.
Blumenauer called Wolf "a key architect of the federal government's occupation of Portland."

Oregon state representatives and senators wrote an open letter Thursday to Attorney General William Barr an Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf demanding they pull federal officers out of Portland.
"We are writing to request that you immediately remove federal personnel from the streets of Portland unless authorized by the city's elected officials," the letter states.
