“We should not be passing a funding bill that threatens the well-being of working families and the safety of the American public. Congress should make sure that the government continues to operate, but the bill the House passed today includes multiple provisions that will be harmful to Americans, especially those who are still struggling.
Hillsboro, OR – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) highlighted the benefits of shopping local today while visiting stores in downtown Hillsboro on Small Business Saturday.
Hillsboro City Council President Aron Carleson joined Congresswoman Bonamici, and the two met business owners and spoke with shoppers who were out on the annual shopping holiday.
