WASHINGTON, DC [06/27/16] – Today Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) issued the following statement about the Supreme Court’s 5-3 ruling that a Texas law restricting access to abortion is unconstitutional. The state law required abortion providers to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital and required abortion clinics to meet the standards for ambulatory surgical centers.
