The conference, held every 10 years, brings together stakeholders from around the country to discuss policies for older Americans. Caregivers, doctors, policymakers, and health administrators discussed the successes and challenges of providing a safe, secure, and fulfilling life for seniors.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) voted against H.R. 5 – the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) – emphasizing that the bill does not adequately address the problems of No Child Left Behind.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) joined more than 50 members of Congress today to introduce the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Woman Act, which would ensure that women receive coverage for all reproductive health care.

The EACH Woman Act would require that federal insurance programs, including Medicaid, cover abortion services, and it would prohibit federal, state, and local governments from restricting abortion coverage by private insurance companies.
