Beaverton, Ore.--Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-1) today announced that her new district office in Beaverton, Oregon is open for business.

"I'm delighted to have a new office location for the First Congressional District," said Bonamici. "Accessibility to constituents is a crucial part of my job as Representative. This office will make it easier for residents and visitors to meet with my staff and me to share their ideas, get help with a federal agency or discuss our work in Congress."

The committee oversees federal education programs and initiatives across agencies, including the No Child Left Behind Act and Higher Education Act. Committee jurisdiction also includes oversight of federal labor laws and workforce training programs.
