Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-1) issued the following statement in response to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)’s record of decision approving final design and construction of the long-awaited Newberg Dundee Bypass:

Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici will speak at Memorial Day services this Monday at the Willamette National Cemetery (10 am) and the Veterans Gateway at the Washington County Fairgrounds (2 pm). She made the following statement today to mark the observance:

“This Memorial Day we honor America’s service members who lost their lives to protect ours. Those brave men and women in uniform made the ultimate sacrifice to protect not only our country, but freedom and democracy around the world. To all service members, their families, and our nation’s veterans, I thank you.”
