Larson (CT-01) and Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) released the below statements following the Senate passage of an amendment to the Montreal Protocol that will limit emission of harmful chemicals. Reps. Larson and Bonamici worked to ensure all future amendments to certain multilateral environmental agreements, including the Montreal Protocol, would be enforceable under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) in 2019.

These screenings increase conversations between patients and health care providers about whether the patient intends to become pregnant, helping people access the care they need to prevent unintended pregnancies and improve the likelihood of healthy pregnancies.
