Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) today voted for an amendment to restore $20 billion in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funding slated to be cut by the Federal Agriculture Reform and Risk Management Act (H.R. 1947). Bonamici was an original cosponsor of the amendment, which was offered by Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA).
