Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) highlighted the importance of healthy aging and retirement security for older Americans at a meeting with advocates at the White House Conference on Aging.

The conference, held every 10 years, brings together stakeholders from around the country to discuss policies for older Americans. Caregivers, doctors, policymakers, and health administrators discussed the successes and challenges of providing a safe, secure, and fulfilling life for seniors.

Beaverton, OR — Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici announced eight town hall meetings June 3 - 14 across the First Congressional District.

Bonamici will provide an update on her work in Congress and take questions from residents. The town hall meetings will be held in: Portland, Hillsboro, Beaverton, Gearhart, Vernonia, McMinnville, Newberg, and Scappoose.

“These town halls are an excellent opportunity to hear directly from my constituents about the issues that they value most,” Bonamici said. “I encourage all my constituents to attend and participate.”
