In a four-page letter to members of Congress, Attorney General William Barr said Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation did not find evidence that President Donald Trump's campaign "conspired or coordinated" with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Barr also said in the letter that Mueller investigated whether Trump obstructed justice but didn't come to a definitive answer.

Oregon lawmakers are pushing for a nationwide ban of asbestos - a known carcinogen that kills thousands of people in America every year.

Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici and Senator Jeff Merkley inroduced a new act -- that would ban asbestos entirely in the U.S.

The lawmakers met with community members in Portland Thursday to discuss the issue.

Rep. Bonamici tells KATU News that part of the struggle in banning asbestos is fighting the companies that make money selling it.
